I have the honor of designing the template for this project. This project provides a real gift to the community it supports. Community Gardening Projects
bring neighbors together and empowers people to supplement their food supply by
growing it themselves.
Community gardening stimulates social interaction,
encourages self-reliance, truly beautifies neighborhoods and produces nutritious
foods, while reducing family food budgets. Each garden is an autonomous
neighborhood-based effort where friends share work and responsibility. food, and a connection to the earth and each other.

This site is devoted to art
and writing by and about political prisoners. CJS features an
online gallery, links to other political prisoner artists’ websites and
political prisoner support groups, and downloadable writings and art
with Tom Manning’s’ works alongside work by other political
prisoners.
It was designed and hosted by the TUG Initiative at the
People’s Free Space in Portland, ME. We are looking for more
submissions for this website, so any support committees of political
prisoner artists and writers can get in touch with us to submit art and
writing.
Check out the video section to see a short film I put together around Tom Mannings Art show. The original show was hung at USM and then taken down by the university President. In response to that action there was a press conference. Following the press conference folks marched displaying the art and the show was hung up in another gallery.

Inspired Words
Being is not only beyond but also deep within every form as its innermost invisible and indestructible essence. This means that it is accessible to you now as your own deepest self, your true nature. But don't seek to grasp it with your mind. Don't try to understand it. You can know it only when the mind is still. When you are present, when your attention is fully and intensely in the Now, Being can be felt, but it can never be understood mentally. Eckhart Tolle
